A leading company in Pakistan is seeking an experienced Manager Sales to join our expanding sales team. Overall, the role will primarily involve overseeing and driving adoption of the Press’s curriculum textbooks in schools, colleges, and higher education institutes.

The Manager Sales will be required to lead a team of Sales representatives in the Multan region to ensure their optimum productivity and performance. The role will involve devising, developing, and implementing sales strategies to increase sales, establish a stronger position in the market, monitor sales budgets and forecasts to ensure that targets are met, etc. S/he will also advise on product development and educational trends to ensure that new publishing and marketing campaigns are up-to-date on market intelligence, correctly positioned, and fulfill market needs.

About you

The successful candidate(s) should possess:

  • Relevant business degree (preferably a Master’s) with 6-8 years of sales management experience, including at least 3-4 years of experience managing a large team working remotely.
  • High level of business development acumen with strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience and practical understanding of executing sales functions across a defined territory or territories.
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to set priorities, work independently, and within a team.
  • Knowledge and experience of adapting to changing local cultural sensibilities and needs, and an understanding of how technology impacts the industry.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, SAP, salesforce.com, and tools for sales forecasting and market analysis using data mining techniques.
  • Impeccable English language skills.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel across the region as per business needs.
